Description

Everyone said sadly, “Where is the flower seller? Why is the shop closed?” They all asked, “You see where he went… What happened to him?” “Has he traveled to a faraway country?” “Where is the melody? Where is singing? Where has the rose fragrance faded?

Abdulrahman Mohammed Almahimeed is a Saudi writer, who is interested in reading and writing. The book, At Grandmother Hissa’s House, is the first of his books in kids’ genre. Another book that is written by him for the children will be released and published by Austin Macauley soon. He got a Master’s degree in Engineering Sciences in 2015 from King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, where he also obtained his Bachelor’s degree. Currently he is working in the engineering field. He is a firm believer in childhood’s eternal memories and the imaginative capacity of a writer. Among his sayings include: “It does not matter to me that what I read is generally meant for children – to me, the values and details within those stories and mine are lessons for every generation and yet I still find adults unable to perceive such morals.”
