Jana Nashar was born in 1422 AH in the industrial city of Yanbu, into a small, educated family who loved reading and learning constantly.
Since her childhood, she has been attending the library and participating in reading clubs.
Her mother admired her daughter’s love of reading. Therefore, she encouraged her to try writing, and she succeeded, praise be to God, in writing her first book, entitled An Encounter I Cannot Forget, but she did not publish it. So, she wrote Blue Feather, which was published by Austin Macauley.
A feather fell on the pond, the child picked it up, and continued playing until he returned home to show his mother the feather, so she asked him to wash it to show him its beautiful color.From there, the boy who picked up the feather begins his interest in feathers and birds....
