Dr. Sherifat Taiwo Osinowo was born as a twin in Rome, Italy, to her interfaith parents on 6th of July 1984. Her parents’ passion to maintain family ties, culture, language and tradition brought about their return to Nigeria in 1988, where her education began. By the time she completed her secondary education, her family was united under the fold of Islam. She got admitted to Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun, Nigeria, where she studied Microbiology briefly before switching to Medicine alongside her twin.
