A collection of short stories that narrate reality in its various shades, both sweet and bitter, and wander through the corners of the Arab region and its neighboring cultures. They transport you across the expanse of the place with its atmospheres, colors, and scents, painting a beautiful picture of human emotions at various times.

Ibrahim Matar experienced a set of societal changes in his local community and its transition from a period of simple, instinctive life to the post-oil phase and the emergence of the modern state. This was accompanied by changes at all levels: economic, political, and social, in addition to constantly keeping abreast of international and regional changes. He is also interested in knowing about others, the culture of nations, and their life experiences.
